The colleague of a Hong Kong engineer diagnosed with the coronavirus has also tested positive, according to two medical sources, which if confirmed would bring the total number of cases in the city to 58.
A 45-year-old man, who has twice tested positive for the virus, worked with the confirmed patient at architecture firm P&T Group in North Point and they were reportedly last in contact on February 7, a source said.
The Post has contacted the Department of Health for confirmation.

A 54-year-old engineer, who lived in Ming Kung Mansion in Taikoo Shing, was found on Sunday to have Covid-19, the disease caused by the virus, but authorities were still tracing the source of what could be a local transmission.
The man, who has no recent travel history, has suffered from a prolonged fever since February 7 and sought help from a private clinic four times.
He was twice referred to the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan but was only admitted on February 15 after earlier lung scans showed no abnormalities.
Before the 54-year-old was taken to hospital, he attended a church gathering in Shau Kei Wan. His wife is also in hospital pending test results.
The case has raised questions over whether additional measures should be introduced for people with only minor symptoms to prevent further transmission locally.
According to the source, the 45-year-old Taikoo Shing resident last met his colleague on February 7.
P&T said in an internal memo on Sunday the latter was working between January 30 and February 6 before going off sick.
The 45-year-old reportedly developed a fever on February 13 and was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei on Sunday.
The company has asked all staff to work from home until February 23, telling them their office in 633 King's Road will be sterilised.
