SINGAPORE, April 3, 2020 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live. People are encouraged to keep social distancing and mass gatherings are cancelled to prevent the spread of the virus. How has it changed everyday life around the world? Our selection of photos presents comparative illustrations of Singapore's landmarks before and after the pandemic.

Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 49 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the city state to 1049.
