Ferm Living 說起丹麥家居品牌「Ferm Living 」，我們聯想起它們的牆紙。品牌是由Trine Andersen於2005年成立。品牌初期，Trine Andersen打算重新裝修房子，卻難以找到心儀的圖案化的牆紙，於是她就思索著為何不自己設計屬於喜愛的、而且價錢實惠的牆紙產品。後來，2006年Trine所創建的牆紙系列便開始風靡一時。現在，品牌牌「Ferm Living」創建的已不僅是牆紙，還有家具、餐具、燈具、抱枕、擺件等，其風格線條俐落、配色不刺眼。品牌嘗試多樣色彩，正所謂Trine說，「Our use of color is a strong part of our design DNA」

We are getting closer to the the Helsinki Design Week, and it's bringing up a lot of memories from when we first launched our hand printed kitchen towels at the local Design Market over 10 years ago. . The weeks leading up to the event we had been printing in our tiny studio on Aleksis Kiven Katu (a street with a bit of a rough reputation back then). We washed the printing screens and tools in a water tub with a garden hose on the street because we ran out of space in the studio! Luckily the residents of this Kallio neighbourhood are very tolerant and hardly paid attention to this strange business. 😂 . When we sold out the kitchen towels in first day, we had friends and family come in and help make more the following nights. 💗
