I went ahead and put all my texture images into one folder for ease (almost two years later 🙃) and it’s filling me with so much joy. . . . 海岸系刺繡 自我療癒Emily Botelho
英國藝術家Emily Botelho以「Salt Stitches」為名，在 Instagram分享自己的抽象刺繡作品而廣受歡迎。她用針線繡出海岸的獨特紋理，從蜿蜒的地形到柔軟的海草，全在她的手裡轉化為繡框裡的色彩和線條。具有攝影背景的Emily，對於土地與大海交界處的海岸景緻特別有情意結，常用相機記錄岸邊地衣、海草的色澤與紋路，然後將影像印製在棉布上，相片中不規則的曲線劃分出多個區塊，她以緞面繡針法縫出長直線填滿局部，同時也會利用小珠子、貝殼加以點綴，為畫面增添立體感，如同海岸邊起伏的地貌。
原本從事時尚工作的Emily，因為被公司主管欺凌打壓，精神壓力極大，終忍受不了而辭職。後來到北威爾斯休息的她，被當地海岸風景打動，手上剛好有各色縫線，所以她就進行刺繡創作，第一個作品就這樣完成！Emily認為刺繡成了一種自我修復，讓她度過精神困擾的時光。

Exciting news!! I've finally found somewhere that prints beautiful prints of my art, which means I can now go ahead with the limited edition framed prints!! There's going to be a set amount of about 5 designs (the 4 above plus the aerial tropical beach one I use for my stickers too), probably 10 of each with each one signed and numbered. They'll be printed and framed like the second photo, which was the trial print, although that one is in a deep box frame and the finished ones will be normal depth frames (although hopefully the same style). 田園景致開闊視野 Victoria Rose Richards撫平紛亂思緒
英國藝術家Victoria Rose Richards細緻的針線活，將田野綠地繡成一幅幅精巧的掌上風景。居住在英國德文郡普利茅斯的Victoria，其刺繡皆以周遭的自然美景中汲取靈感。在一系列作品中，除了可以看到鄉村恬靜的田野風光，也可以看到座落廣袤大海的綠色島嶼。
患有亞氏保加症（Asperger syndrome，自閉症的其中一類社交困難症狀）的Victoria表示：「當初會拾起繡花針，是因為發現在創作的過程中，原本紛雜擾亂的思緒一點一點地被撫平。」。她以針為筆、繡線為顏料，將家鄉的田野綠地化作刺繡作品，不僅讓人看了心情舒坦，視野也跟著開闊起來！

苔癬、黴菌成靈感！ Hannah Kwasnycia直覺式刺繡
靈感來自大自然中的苔癬、地衣、珊瑚、黴菌，加拿大藝術家Hannah Kwasnycia的抽象刺繡，混合多種技法，以多變的顏色加上串珠呈現。她在1年多前開始接觸刺繡，26歲的她利用閒暇時間練習，很快地在IG上獲得關注。她創作的習慣很特別，不打草稿，大量倚賴直覺和靈感，也正因此每一幅都是獨一無二的作品。
不僅以抽象的圖樣受人矚目，Hannah Kwasnycia選用的色調也十分有意思。她的刺繡作品都以一個色系為主，她會在這個色系裡，巧妙運用各種刺繡技法表現層次。在她的作品裡，偶爾也會看到小小的串珠，為整體畫面增添閃閃發光的亮點。
