不滿警暴　美博物館宣布　辦活動終止聘警員保安　直至警隊改革

美國黑人男子弗洛伊德 (George Floyd) 被壓頸致死事件引發示威浪潮。位於事發城市明尼蘇達州明尼亞波里斯的沃克藝術中心 (Walker Art Center) 宣布，舉辦活動時不再聘請警員保安，直至警方改革，包括向濫暴警員問責。

沃克藝術中心是美國最重要博物館之一。過往，沃克藝術中心在舉辦活動時，不時會與警方合作，聘用休班警員進行保安。此舉也是美國博物館慣例。然而該館周三在 IG 宣布，不再在舉辦活動時，使用當地警方服務，直至警方進行改革，包括向濫暴警員問責，以及尊重有色人種。該館是美國首座博物館，以具體政策支持今次黑人抗爭。

此外，沃克藝術中心又貼出當地詩人及藝術家 Keno Evol 繪畫受害人 George Floyd 的作品，以示支持抗爭運動。​

沃克藝術中心與現代藝術博物館、三藩市現代藝術博物館、古根漢美術館及赫希洪博物館和雕塑花園並列為美國五大國家現代博物館，也是美國上中西部地區第一座公共美術館。

除沃克藝術中心外，當地的教育團體《公立學校董事會 (Public School Board)》亦已宣布，終止與警方關係。
